Apple begins selling refurbished iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus on its online store

Do you want to own an iPhone but you’ve never had the cash to do so? Well, if you’re living in the United States, you would be pleased to know that Apple has begun selling refurbished iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Pluses on its online store today.

As these iPhones are refurbished devices, the prices on these devices have been discounted. For example, the refurbished, SIM-Free 16GB iPhone 6s costs only USD449, while the 16GB iPhone 6S Plus costs a mere USD529. These refurbished iPhones will come in all available colours and will come with a one year warranty. Also important is the fact that the refurbished iPhones are SIM-free, allowing you to use these devices across all U.S. cell carriers. That being said, we don’t quite know if it’ll work with international carriers.

Those who are looking for an more up to date version of the iPhone (read: iPhone 7) may have to wait a while before refurbished versions start popping up on the website, but seeing as Apple has begun selling refurbished versions of their smartphone, getting an iPhone may no longer be as restrictive as it once is.
