Apple announces ‘Peek Performance’ event on 8 March

In a typical fashion, Apple has sent out media invites on its spring launch event that’s happening on March 8th in the US, and this time, we are teased with a ‘Peek Performance’ message.

So, what can we expect from Apple this round?

Well, there’s going to be new devices for sure as we are looking to the third generation iPhone SE, which is expected to take on the same design as the outgoing model though equipped with the faster A15 Bionic chip, which will undoubtedly make it the most affordable and fastest 5G iPhone ever, but we do of course  hope that Apple has resolved the terrible battery life on the new model.

iPad Air

A refreshed iPad Air is also expected since the current hardware is already a year old, which could also see the chip being updated to the A15 Bionic chip with 5G connectivity, along with a new FaceTime camera that supports Center Stage, there has also been rumors that the iPad Air could also come with an OLED display as well.

Portrait Mode on FaceTime will not be supported on Intel based Macs running macOS Monterey

For Macs, we are looking to the Mac Mini and 13-inch MacBook Pro, as Apple is expected to give these dated machines a performance boost with the long anticipated M2 chip, while we also expect a redesigned Mac Mini due to the M2 chip being so efficient and not requiring such a big footprint.

If you want to watch the event, Apple is live streaming the event on its official YouTube channel, Apple.com and Apple TV, so stay tuned to the page while we bring you updates.
