PS5 users can now get 6 months of Apple TV+ for free

Do you own a PS5, or you planning on getting one soon? If your answer is a yes, we have some good news. Apple will be giving you a free six-month subscription of Apple TV+.

Get a PS5, get free Apple TV+

This new promotion is a result of collaboration between Apple and Sony. It’s clear that Apple is trying to attract more Apple TV+ subscribers while Sony just wants you to have more reasons to get their new PS5.

The new offer will end by July 22, 2022 — you’ll have about a year’s time to get yourself a PS5 if you don’t already own one. After your trial period, you’ll be charged RM19.90/month. Needless to say, you’ll need to have a PlayStation Network account and an Apple ID.

You can still redeem even if you’re already subscribed

Even if you are already subscribed to Apple TV+, you are still eligible to redeem this free six-month subscription. However, you need to make sure that you’re subscribed to Apple TV+ itself, not the bundle offer like Apple One.

The free trial is not available to everyone, but it is available over 60 countries. This includes Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand and of course, Malaysia.
