Android Wear 2.0 is finally ready for some watches

Looks like android is back to updating their devices. Previously we seen the Pixel C getting a Android 7.1.2 update changing its user interface slightly to match the current look and feel of the Pixel phones. Well this time some Android Wear devices are getting an Android Wear 2.0 update mainly to the 2015 LG Watch Urbane and the New Balance RunIQ.

Although other devices were seen getting the update earlier, Google has said that the update for the devices that did not, will be delayed due to the fact that they found bugs in the final testing. LG mention that it will roll out the update to the Urbane and G Watch this week and the Urbane second edition will get the new version beginning of May. RunIQ owners will see the update before April 14th. The update was seen in February on the new LG Watch Style and LG Watch Sport, and was said to come to older LG devices shortly after.

Seven watches will be seen getting the update, leaving 12 more watches waiting for the new update including devices from Huawei, Moto and ASUS. This new OS has an easier-to-use UI, standalone apps and watchfaces, and Google Assistant.
