Nokia is currently rolling out updates for the Nokia 6 (2018) and Nokia 7 phones. The new update will bring about the Android 8.0 update and the last year’s Nokia 6 will also be getting the update.
HMD Global confirmed the updates on Weibo to which they added that the update will not only bring the latest version of Android, they are also improving the user interface to bring a more concise and fluid interface, improved background app management and enhanced power-saving features. Other than that, users can also expect Oreo features like Picture-in-Picture mode, notification dots, background limited, auto-fill and Smart Text selection. Just like all Android update, it will be rolled out in phases but HMD Global will be sending a push notification to users when the update is available on their phones.
