Google I/O commenced yesterday, and you probably know that Android N will be released to everyone this summer. Google has also opened up Android N beta for the general public to get a taste of the latest version of the OS. Sadly though, Android N has yet to be named. But HTC has announced that Android N will be heading over to their elite line of handsets pretty soon.
The announcement was made by HTC on its official Twitter account, stating that three phones, specifically the HTC 10, One M9 and One A9 will be receiving Android N soon. We’re expecting Android N to head their way after the introduction of the next Nexus lineup, which will likely happen roughly in early October.
HTC did not reveal as to whether older flagships such as the One M8 or even the One M7 will be receiving their share of the next Android version. Chances are that other devices will be getting Android N after the three aforementioned phones, which are clearly in the priority category when it comes to software updates.
