Looking for a powerful graphics card on the cheap? According to WCCF Tech, AMD has slashed the price of their Radeon RX Vega 56 in preparation of the impending release of Nvidia’s release of the GTX 1660 Ti later tonight.

The price cut is happening in the States at the moment but it’s likely to happen here too. The reason for its discount is that, at full price, the RX Vega 56 is nearly $100 more expensive than the GTX 1660 Ti’s rumored price tag.

To gain an upper hand, AMD slashes its original $399 price to a thrifty $279 to compete with it’s upcoming contender.

The RX Vega 56 comes with 8GB of HBM2 VRAM and comes with features such as Rapid Packed Math, Shader Intrinsics and is supported by Freesync 2 – which given its price cut, is a bang for your buck if you’re looking for a high-end gaming GPU.
