If you recall the rumors about the AMD R9 380X will be released around the corner, looks like AMD has now officially released the latest graphics card in town – the R9 380X. According to its code name, the card is generally positioned between Radeon R9 380 and R9 390 in terms of performance output and price point. Following AMD, the new Radeon R9 380X is able to deliver excellent performance in games at not only full HD resolution but also at 1440p. The easiest exampleis that the graphics card can apparently hit 58 fps, 60.8 fps, 73 fps, and 54 fps for Star Wars: Battlefront, Battlefield Hardline, Civilization BE, and Dragon Age: Inquisition respectively during AMD’s internal testing. Most importantly, all these games were set to run on 2560×1440 resolution respectively with high graphics preset settings.

However, the price factor is still the key when it comes to AMD graphics card, with the standard R9 380X variant going for USD 229 (approx. RM975) onwards, while overclocked models start at USD 239 (approx. RM1,050). But there isn’t any proper release date and pricing information for Radeon R9 380X in Malaysia at the moment, so stay tuned for further updates.
