AMD begins selling Ryzen 5 Desktop Processors, starts from RM819

AMD has made quite a show with the Ryzen 7 and outperforms Intel’s Kaby Lake in some ways, the company isn’t stopping its challenge against Intel as the company has finally unleashed the Ryzen 5 desktop processors, the company has claimed that the Ryzen 5 1600X in particular offers up to 87% better performance against Intel’s Core i5 7600K, the Ryzen 5 processors will be available in two 6-core and two 4-core models, while both having 12 and 8 threads respectively.

AMD has targeted the Ryzen 5 1600X and 1600 processors at streamers, as such applications require intensive processing power, it offers a highly accessible solution for high quality 1080p/60fps/3500Kbps game streaming all thanks to its Simultanenous Multithreading technology, while the AMD Ryzen 5 1500X and 1400 are designed for perfomrance gaming and processing, the 1500X in particular features up to 200MHz of XFR (extended frequency range) when used with superior cooling.

The Ryzen 5 processors will support the AM4 socket and will work with the X370, B350 and A320 chipset, the AM4 motherboards are easily available from companies such as ASRock, ASUS, Biostar, Gigabyte and Biostar. For more information, head on over to AMD.com/Ryzen.
