The Ryzen Threadripper finally has a pricing in Ringgit and it is roughly what we expected it to be. The two models that will be coming to us will be the 1950X and the 1920X. The 1900X will arrive on 31 August with pricing to follow soon.
The Threadripper will be using the new TR4 Socket, supports quad-channel DDR4, 64 lanes of PCI Express for all models. Base clock on the 1950X is clocked at 3.4GHz with precision boost to 4.0GHZ, while the 1920X is clocked at 3.5GHz with precision boost to 4.0GHz and the unreleased 1900X will have a clock speed of 3.8GHz with precision boot to 4.0GHz. The new processor will be capable of complex 3D rendering, streaming high-quality video content or encoding and encrypting files all at the same time.
