Amazfit Malaysia has officially launched the T-Rex 2 rugged outdoor smartwatch today, which the company has claimed to have passed over 15 military-grade tests and can remain functional in temperatures as low as -30℃ through the ultra-low temperature operation feature.
Sporting a bright 1.39-inch AMOLED display, the T-Rex 2 features a ‘G-Shock’ like rugged watch frame design as it is made to sustain bumps and usage on all-terrains, which is in fact the main selling point of the smartwatch as it is catered for wearers who does extreme sports.
Like other Amazfit smartwatches, the T-Rex 2 runs on Zepp OS that’s light and intuitive to use, there’s over 150 sports tracking mode and wearers can create training templates for 11 different sports through the Zepp app, it also features dual-band GPS for accurate positioning, and the watch will last up to 24 days on a single charge.
The Amazfit T-Rex 2 is available in color options of Astro Black & Gold, Ember Black, Wild Green and Desert Khaki, it comes with a one-year warranty and retails for RM799.
To celebrate the launch, the T-Rex 2 will be available exclusively on Amazfit’s official Shopee store with a promotional price from 6 to 8 July, customers will also stand a chance to win a Powerbuds Pro, GTS 2 mini and Band 5, while the first 100 buyers of the T-Rex 2 will get an Amazfit sport bottle and screen protector.
