Have you been a fan of Alien movie franchise? If you are, you might be interested in the upcoming mobile game by developer D3 Go! because it’s a survival horror game called Alien: Blackout.
Alien: Blackout is claimed to be a new chapter in the Alien franchise, and the main character in the game will be Ellen Ripley’s daughter, Amanda Ripley. Based on the trailer released by D3 Go!, Alien: Blackout is a first-person perspective game, where the players will be playing as Amanda.
Basically, Amanda is trapped with her crew in a space station with a Xenomorph on board. The mission is to survive without getting hunted by the monster while rescuing the crew members. Players need to outsmart the Xenomorph and protect the crew with only a holographic map, surveillance cameras and motion tracker.
The official site also stated that “Every decision can lead to a different conclusion.” This indicates that Alien: Blackout will have alternate endings depending on player’s decisions and actions, hence players can keep replaying the game to discover the different outcomes that the game has.
Alien: Blackout will be available in Apple App Store, Google Play Store and Amazon Appstore on 24 January 2019. However, it can already be preordered at the price of RM19.90.
