Alcatel introduces three new phones that are priced below RM1000

Alcatel is back once again in Malaysia and they recently had a product launch where they introduced three new smartphones to the market that are all priced below RM1000. The three phones are the Alcatel 5V, Alcatel 3L and Alcatel 1, these phones come with a FullView 19:9 displays and cameras that harness the power of AI.

Alcatel 5V

The 5V comes with a 19:9 FullView display along with a 6.2-inch screen in a 5.5-inch form factor. This allows for an 88% screen-to-body ratio which can be used for split-screen multitasking. Other than that, it comes with a MediaTek 6762 processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, powering the device is an impressive 4000mAh battery. For photography, the rear houses a 12MP+2MP sensor and the front has a single 8MP sensor.

Alcatel 3L

The next phone is the 3L which comes with a 5.5-inch 18:9 display, MediaTek 6739 processor, 16GB of storage expandable to 128GB and 2GB of RAM. On the rear, there is a single 13MP camera and the front houses 5MP sensor. Powering the device is a 3000mAh battery.

Alcatel 1

The Alcatel 1 is the cheapest of the three models and to keep it cheap, the company has implemented Android Oreo Go edition with this phone. Specs wise, it comes with a MediaTek MT6739 processor, 8GB of internal storage and 1GB of RAM. The rear houses a 5MP sensor while the front sports a 2MP sensor. Powering the phone is a 2000mAh battery.

All three phones will be available in Malaysia through 11street, Shopee and all official retail outlets from 29 August onwards. The Alcatel 5V will be priced at RM898, Alcatel 3L at RM498 and the Alcatel 1 is priced at RM298.
