Adam Boyes is a name that many PlayStation fans would recognize. From announcing indie titles at E3, to making a cheeky video that pokes fun at Microsoft’s Xbox One, Boyes has been a key player for Sony’s PlayStation division ever since the man became the PlayStation brand’s Vice President of Publisher & Developer Relations. However, this is no longer the case, as Boyes has announced that he has resigned from Sony.
After an incredible journey here at PlayStation, I’ve made the very hard decision to return to the world of game development!

@iamironwolf Nope, going to make games again on the independent side

In a post made on Twitter, Boyes states that he will be going back to the games development market as an indie developer. Seeing as Boyes was rather instrumental in introducing various indie games to the PlayStation Store, Boyes decision to return to indie development is rather understandable.
Before joining Sony, Boyes has worked with numerous game publishers, including the now defunct Midway, Capcom and Electronic Arts. Boyes also founded his own company, Beefy Media, in 2010. Of course, Boyes’ finest hour (in my own opinion) would have to be the instructional video on how one can share games on the PlayStation 4. Whatever the case, we wish Boyes good luck on his future endeavours.
