Acer updates Nitro 5 gaming laptop with Intel Coffee Lake processor

The Nitro 5 is a really popular gaming laptop from Acer, despite not having the Predator branding, the Nitro 5 gaming laptop still has a lot to offer when it comes to hardware performance at an affordable price tag. Joining the bandwagon of Intel Coffee Lake H series gaming laptops, the Nitro 5 will be offered in 8th Generation Intel Core i7 and Core i7+ models, which gives it a performance boost over the previous model, it will come equipped with a GeForce GTX 1050Ti GPU as well.

The Acer Nitro 5 can be configured with up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM and 512GB of NVMe PCIe SSD, a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display is present with a HD webcam for live streaming, it also features a fast Intel Wireless-AC 9560 wireless adapter and Bluetooth 5.0, along with I/O such as USB-C, HDMI 2.0 and Gigabit LAN.

While specs will vary depending on locations, Acer has announced that the new Nitro 5 gaming laptop will be available in North America in May starting from $749 (RM2,893), a very accessible price point and it is probably the most affordable Coffee Lake powered laptop we have seen for now.
