Acer Swift X AMD launched in Malaysia: Equipped with up to a Ryzen 7 5800U CPU and RTX 3050 Ti

Acer has just launched two new AMD Ryzen-powered devices in the Swift X laptop and Nitro 50 PC. Acer Swift X This thin and light laptop is geared towards creators and it’s powered with up to a Ryzen 7 5800U chipset and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU with Max-Q technology. There’s also 16GB of onboard RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage by way of a PCIe NVMe SSD. You can also get the laptop with a Ryzen 5 5600U, RTX 3050 Ti GPU, and 8GB of onboard memory. The Swift X sports a 14-inch FHD IPS panel which supports 100% sRGB colour gamut and Acer’s BlueLightShield tech. In terms of battery life, the laptop packs a 59W battery and the brand claims it can offer up to 17 hours of use. Elsewhere, the device weighs only 1.39KGs and is 1.79cm thin; plus it comes with an air inlet keyboard design that helps dissipate heat better. The laptop is priced from RM4,299 for the Ryzen 5 model, and RM4,999 for the Ryzen 7 version. Acer Nitro 50 AMD The Nitro 50 is a gaming PC that can be equipped with up to a RTX 3060 Ti and Ryzen 7 5700G combination. The same CPU can be equipped with a GTX 1660 SUPER as well; or if you’d like something more affordable, you can opt for the Ryzen 5 5600X + GTX 1650 version. The top-tier model comes with 1TB of storage, while the GTX 1660 SUPER and GTX 1650 models will only have 512GB of storage. All variants come with 8GB of DDR4 3200MHz RAM, but you can upgrade it to 16GB. Powering the device is a 500W 80PLUS Gold, ATX PSU. The chassis looks the same as its Intel-based siblings, meaning you get a mostly black case with a red, lit-up V on the front. The Nitro 50 AMD is priced at RM4,299 for the Ryzen 5600X + GTX 1650 model, RM4,999 for the Ryzen 7 5700G + GTX 1660 SUPER variant, and RM6,499 for the Ryzen 7 5700G + RTX 3060 Ti version.
