Acer announced the Predator Helios 700 with a magnificent HyperDrift keyboard

Acer introduced a new gaming laptop in New York today, the Predator Helios 700.

With an updated design, the Helios 700 comes with a unique design revolving around its keyboard. The keyboard and trackpad can both be expanded, in which the former reveals Acer’s 4th Gen AeroBlade 3D Technology — its cooling system — and the latter can function as an arm rest.

With an RGB keyboard, the Helios 700 has concave-shaped keycaps but the highlight of the keyboard is that its keys are called MagForce keys that comes with linear switches, which can offer more precision compared to normal keyboards.

Under the hood, the Helios 700 is powered by a 9th Gen Intel Core i7 Processor paired with the NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 2080 graphics card. It also has a 144Hz display with NVIDIA G-Sync, and a 5.1 sound system that is guaranteed to provide premium audio quality.

On a side note, the Helios 300 was also refreshed with higher-end specs, including a 144Hz refresh rate for its screen.

Unfortunately, both pricing and availability has yet to be announced.
