Acer announced the Nitro 5 laptop targeted at budget gamers

With the budget gaming market on the rise, Acer is trying to put its foot in the water by offering an option and it comes as an affordable laptop called Nitro 5. While it is not the most powerful laptop around, Acer is targeting people who game on a less regular basis.

The laptop is equipped with a NVIDIA GeForce 1050Ti or Radeon RX550 graphics card, 7th gen Intel Core i5 and i7 or AMD FX A10 and A12 CPU and the option of PCI-E SSD to speed up performance. Other than that, it will come with a 15.6-inch 1080p screen, USB-C 3.1 port, USB 3.0 port and two USB 2.0 connections, gigabit Ethernet, 802.11AC wireless and a HDMI 2.0 port. On the design aspect it will have illuminated keyboard and a well designed air vents.

The Acer Nitro 5 will only arrive in North America in July with prices starting at $799 (RM3415.33). There is still no news on the Asia release or if there will be one, but we will update you when more information is available.
