5G is rolling out soon but will be a growing pain in its beginnings

It’s promised to be the next big thing – offering significantly faster speed and more responsiveness – the 5G network is working towards a reality and it’s not a surprise anymore.

From what we know so far from the MWC 2018, Verizon and AT&T are planning to launch limited mobile 5G service this year, while T-Mobile and Sprint will be catching up for the next year instead. Although 5G is said to be relatively faster in so many ways, do expect for it undergo some problems too; speed may not be as consistent as it said it is, or at all.

And the price is another issue being faced by the industry leaders. Some are concerned whether consumers would really pay a premium for it as you can stream movies just as fine with a 4G network already. That’s especially true even when the 5G network can be anywhere from 10 to 100 times faster.

With all that being said, guess we’ll just sit back and see when it’s going to be released for Malaysia instead. It’s likely happening within the next few years.
