50 seconds is how fast the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 got sold out

Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi has announced the Mi Note 2 flagship phone a week ago. The flagship phablet has finally been launched and went on sale earlier today in Xiaomi’s homeland China. Multiple reports claim that the Mi Note 2 was sold out on Xiaomi’s Chinese website in a mere 50 seconds. The sale was only made available to those who have pre-ordered the device.

The fast sell out is one of the many feats achieved by Xiaomi through the company’s online sales. The Chinese manufacturer has always been known for its speedy flash sales that usually end up having its products sold out, hence the sale of the Mi Note 2 shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. The phablet is anticipated to be one of the few capable candidates to fill the void of the dead Galaxy Note 7 by Samsung.

The Mi Note 2 does resemble the Galaxy Note 7 in numerous aspects, but mainly its screen. Like the latter device, the former sports a curved dual edge display, also at 5.7-inches. The Mi Note 2 however retains the more common 1080p resolution screen, compared to the the Note 7’s QHD resolution display. The Mi Note 2 packs a Snapdragon 821 processor with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage.

Xiaomi’s beautiful concept phone, the huge 6.4-inch Mi MIX will go on sale this coming 4th of November and we shall expect a similar sellout like the Mi Note 2. Let us know your thoughts at the comments section below!
