4th Generation Moto X photos leaked

Late last year, rumours were going around that the next entry in the Moto X series of smartphones would be sporting a full metal unibody. Today, that rumour is confirmed as images of the upcoming Moto X has been leaked online.

According to a Tweet by Evan Blass, as well as pictures hosted on hellomotoHK’s Google+ page, the upcoming Moto X will indeed be sporting a full metal unibody. Aside from the metal body, the 4th Gen Moto X will also come with a redesigned camera housing which is protected by a large glass. Another interesting thing to note is that the phone might come with swappable metallic covers as the hellomotoHK page reveals the the phone will, at the very least, feature at least three different back cover variants.

As for the specifications of the Moto X, nothing really solid has been revealed yet. Judging from early benchmark scores that was found by Phandroid though, it is highly likely that the phone will come with a Snapdragon 820 and 4GB of RAM. With the launch date of the phone rumoured to be on the 9th of June, we expect more details about the Moto X to be leaked over the coming weeks.
