ASUS ROG Phone 2 is coming in July with a 120Hz display and a Snapdragon 855 chipset

ASUS ROG Phone is a hit when it first launched, hence why its successor is coming soon in July. This time round, ASUS will be collaborating with Tencent to produce a successor to the ROG Phone.

The ROG Phone 2 will be launching in July in China if the Weibo post by ROG is indeed true. The collaboration between both companies is said to bring optimisation in the ROG Phone 2 for Tencent games, including PUBG Mobile.

While there are no confirmed specs whatsoever, many of us are expecting a 120Hz display and the latest Snapdragon 855 chipset. The device will also keep its Air Triggers and sport improved thermal systems to prevent overheating.

Meanwhile in Malaysia, the Asus ROG Phone on Lazada — that’s on a RM1,000 discount — is now sold out.
