Realme announces the Realme X with 6.53-inch AMOLED screen and a pop-up camera

Realme just launched the Realme C2 and Realme 3 Pro in Malaysia two days ago, but that doesn’t stop them from also launching the Realme X in China.

The Realme X is Realme’s first pop-up selfie camera phone, but it does have a few similarities with previous Realme devices. For example, the phone that comes with a 6.53-inch AMOLED display still has the S-shaped line pattern on its gradient back, reminding us of the Realme 3 Pro. However, the phone now sports the more advanced in-display fingerprint sensor and has no notch thanks to its pop-up camera.

Similarly to the Realme 3 Pro, the Realme X houses a Snapdragon 710 chipset and supports Hyper Boost 2.0 technology. The phone has up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, in addition to shipping with ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9.0.

There will be a 16MP pop-up selfie camera on the front while on its back, Realme made sure to include a 48MP snapper paired with a 5MP secondary sensor. As for its battery, the Realme X will have a 3,765mAh battery which supports VOOC Flash Charge 3.0.
