Techtober’ is still going strong thanks to realme as they launch two new wallet-friendly smartphones in the realme 7i and the realme C17.

Priced at just RM999, the realme 7i comes with 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display that pushes a 90Hz refresh rate, with a 120Hz touch sampling rate. 

For imaging, it has a 64MP main lens, an 8MP ultrawide shooter, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP B&W portrait lens. For selfies is a 16MP front camera housed in a punch hole notch module.  

Under the hood is a Snapdragon 662 chipset with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Powering the phone is a 5,000mAh battery that supports up to 18W of fast charging.  

The realme 7i comes in Aurora Green and Polar Blue, and packs a mirror-like finish on the back panel. There’s a back-mounted fingerprint scanner, while face unlock is also supported.

The lower-end realme C17 costs RM899 and comes with a 6.5-inch 90Hz HD+ panel too. The phone also sports a punch hole notch. 

When it comes to cameras, you get a 13MP main lens, an 8MP ultrawide shooter, and the same double 2MP macro and depth sensors. For selfies is an 8MP front shooter. 

Under the hood, you get a Snapdragon 460 chipset, 6GB storage, and 256GB of internal storage. The phone is powered with a 5,000mAh too with the same 18W of fast charging support.  

The phone comes in Lake Green, and Navy Blue; its design boasts an AG frosted glass effect. 

Availability 

The realme 7i is goes on sale this 13 October via realme’s Lazada store and will get a complementary realme Powerbank 2; meanwhile, offline sales will begin 17 October and will get you a free pair of realme Buds Classic earbuds. 

The realme C17 is not currently available, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted on the latest developments.
