ASUS remained tight-lipped on their upcoming flagship, the Zenfone 7 for the most part, but the Taiwanese giants have now quietly announced its launch date which is set to happen this 26 August at 2PM.
The livestream event will see at least two Zenfone 7 smartphones introduced – but because the rumour mill for this device has been so barren that there’s really not a lot known about it. Some folk are speculating a motorised flip camera like on its predecessor, but possibly with four lenses.
We’re also expecting the top-range model to sport a Snapdragon 865+ chipset, while the base model will get the regular Snapdragon 865. According to GSM Arena, we could see the phones come with 16GB RAM – we can’t say for sure how much storage you’ll get, but 256GB is a safe bet.
Not much more is known about the device, so be sure to catch the livestream launch this August 26 on their YouTube channel here.
