With the AMD Ryzen 4000 series CPUs now in crosshairs of some looking to build a new system – the newly-introduced Ryzen 3000XT could give cause of reconsideration as it offers some serious value with higher boost frequencies with the same Zen 2 7nm architecture.
|BOOST/ BASE FREQUENCY (GHZ)||TOTAL CACHE (MB)||TDP (WATTS)||Platform|
|AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT||12/24||Up to 4.7/3.8||70||105||AM4|
|AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT||8/16||Up to 4.7/3.9||36||105||AM4|
|AMD Ryzen 5 3600XT||6/12||Up to 4.5/3.8||35||95||AM4|
As you can see, everything remains the same bar an increase in boost frequencies:
|Model||Base/Boost Frequency (GHZ)|
|AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT||3.8/4.7|
|AMD Ryzen 9 3900X||3.8/4.6|
|AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT||3.9/4.7|
|AMD Ryzen 7 3800X||3.9/4.5|
|AMD Ryzen 5 3600XT||3.8/4.5|
|AMD Ryzen 5 3600X||3.8/4.4|
In terms of pricing, the Ryzen 9 3900XT suggested retail price is $499 (RM2,132), the Ryzen 7 3800XT will cost $399 (RM1,705), and the Ryzen 5 3600XT will go for $249 (RM1,064). The chips are expected to arrive this July 7.
