The iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max are now reported to come with a ProMotion display with a 120Hz refresh rate, similar to the new iPad Pro.
It’s about time too; many flagship Android devices this year have started upgrading their displays to have higher refresh rates. Previous reports suggested that the iPhone 12 Pro will be bigger this year by featuring a 6.1-inch display while the iPhone 12 Pro Max will have a 6.7-inch screen, so these displays will come equipped with ProMotion technology.
On the other hand, the iPhone 12 will still be stuck with a 60Hz display. Just like how the iPhone XR and iPhone 11 misses out on some features their siblings have, the iPhone 12 will also be missing out on a LiDAR Scanner.
There are also several new leaks regarding the new iPhones. There might be two iPhone 12 models — one at 5.4 inches and the other at 6.1 inches. These iPhones will also be featuring OLED screens and might omit 5G connectivity. As for the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max, these phones are expected to come with smaller notches, bigger batteries and better cameras.
