You’ve shot a great video but the audio included people screaming at the background and you want that gone. Well, you don’t need to look far; the Google Photos app will let you do that soon.
Reverse-engineer Jane Manchun Wong is at it again and this time, she discovered that Google Photos will soon offer a tool for users to remove audio from videos. With just a single tap on the “mute” button, you’ll get the video without the audio which can be paired with other background music of your choice.

Apart from that, there are a few other editing tools you can find in Google Photos — this includes video-rotating, trimming and exporting individual frames. All these are available on the Android version of Google Photos, but for iOS devices, there’s still no option to export frame.
But if you’re not a Google Photos user, there’s also a bunch of other apps that can help you remove audio from video. There’s iMovie on iPhone, but you can also download VivaVideo and DJI Mimo app from both App Store and Play Store.
