You may remember the ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo laptop that has a secondary display panel just above its keyboard for added productivity – well, the this is what you get when you cross that with an ROG gaming laptop – the ASUS ROG Zephyrus Duo 15.

The main display is a 15.6-inch PANTONE-validated panel – and you choose either a 4K IPS 60Hz screen, or a FHD IPS 300Hz panel with sRGB certification. Right off the bat, you can tell the ROG Zephyrus Pro Duo 15 is a creator’s laptop.

This is made more evident with the added 14.1-inch secondary display that features touchscreen capabilities. It’s placed right above the keyboard and pushes a resolution of 3840×1100. Dubbed the ROG ScreenPad Plus, this extra display can be tilted at a 13-degree angle to allow you to see it better. This feature is also crucial to improve airflow as tilting it opens up 28.5mm air intake vents that draw in more air.

Since it carries the ROG Zephyrus brand – it’s got to have gaming capabilities too – ASUS claims that they are working with video game developers to optimize games to utilize the secondary display. Titles highlighted by ASUS include Dying Light 2 where you can see co-op chats and your inventory in that second panel.

Making it all possible is a 10th-Gen Inte Core CPU (i7-10875H or i9-10980HK) alongside your choice of either an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER or RTX 2080 SUPER. With this sort of hardware, you’ll be able to stream as well on top of running the most demanding games.

You get 16GB DDR4 3200MHz of on-board RAM which you can add to via an additional SO-DIMM slot with up to a 32GB stick. For storage, you get either 512GB or 1TB of NVMe PCIe SSD.

When it comes to I/O the Zephyrus Duo 15 packs three USB 3.2 Type A ports, one USB 3.2 Type C port, one HDMI (HDMI 2.0b), one Ethernet jack and one 3.5mm headphone jack.

The laptop is powered with a 90Wh battery and comes with support of Power Delivery via USB-C of up to 65W USB-C to allow for mobility. ASUS has not disclosed the pricing and availability yet, so stay tuned for more updates.
