Samsung just announced the pre-orders for the Galaxy S10 Lite and the Galaxy Note 10 Lite – but if those are a bit out of your budget, you’ll be glad to know that the cheaper Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 smartphones are also available for pre-order this Febraury 3-5. The phones will be available in stores this February 7. Your pre-order will also get you Protection Plus which includes a one-year extended phone warranty and a one-time screen replacement. 

The Galaxy A51 gets a 6.5-inch Infinity-O Super AMOLED display with a punch hole camera smack dab in the middle of your display. Besides the size, you could fool people into thinking you have the Galaxy S10 Lite if from afar.

At the back, you get a quad-camera module with a 48MP main lens with a 12MP ultrawide shooter, a 5MP depth sensor and a 5MP macro lens. For selfies, you get a sizeable 32MP lens. 

Under the hood, you’ll find an Exynos 9611 chipset along with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The phone also supports expandable storage via microSD card of up to 512GBs. Power the phone is a 4,000mAh battery with support of up to 15W fast charging.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy A71 is a bigger specimen measuring at 6.7-inches. For imaging, you get a similar module as the A51, except the main camera here is a 64MP shooter. 

Under the hood, you get a Snapdragon 730 chipset with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. You can expand your storage up to 512GB via mircoSD card. Being the larger device, the Galaxy A71 also gets a bigger 4,500mAh batter that supports up to 25W of fast charging.  

The Samsung Galaxy A51 (RM1,299) comes in Prism Crush Black, White and Blue; while the Galaxy A71 (RM1,799) comes in Prism Crush Black, Silver and Blue. Pre-order your smartphone at Samsung’s website this February 3.
