Malaysians may not have heard, but a French mobile brand named WIKO has just launched two of its new devices in Malaysia, and they’re both lower than RM600.

First seen during MWC 2019, WIKO now brings the View3 and View3 Lite to Malaysia with bigger battery and bigger display. Starting with the View3, the phone sports a 6.26-inch IPS panel with HD+ resolution and has a U-shaped notch. It has a fingerprint sensor on its back and also a headphone jack, in addition supporting AI face unlock.

Under the hood, the View3 is equipped with a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage which is expandable up to 256GB. It ships with Android 9 Pie and has a 4,000mAh battery that supposedly can last users around two days.

On the back, the View3 has a triple 12MP + 13MP + 2MP rear camera setup, while its front holds an 8MP selfie snapper. The cameras also support AI Face Beauty, Night mode, Slow motion and Time Lapse.

Moving on, the View3 Lite comes with a slightly smaller 6.09-inch HD+ display. It also sports a U-shaped notch and supports both face and fingerprint unlock, in addition to housing a headphone jack.

As for its internals, the View3 Lite is powered by a Unisoc SC9863A chipset coupled with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage which is expandable up to 128GB. It also has a 4,000mAh battery that charges via microUSB and comes with Android 9 Pie.

Unlike the View3, the View3 Lite only has a dual rear camera setup — a 13MP main camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor. In addition to that, the 5MP front camera is also a downgrade from the 8MP camera spotted on the View3.

However, the less high-end specs found in View3 Lite also means that it will be cheaper than the View3. The View3 and View3 Lite will be available from June 11 onwards and there will be an exclusive launch of WIKO’s Official Store on Lazada. The View3 — normally priced at RM599 — will be available at RM489 from June 11 to June 13, while the View3 Lite — normally priced at RM449 — can be yours for RM369 from June 14 to June 16.
