If we’re gonna talk about phones with impressive zoom capabilities, most of you will probably mention the HUAWEI P30 Pro. However, OPPO is also launching the OPPO Reno 10x Zoom edition in Malaysia that is integrated with 10x Hybrid Zoom technology and can zoom up to 60x.
Slightly larger than the standard OPPO Reno, the OPPO Reno 10x Zoom has a 6.6-inch AMOLED screen with a pivot rising structure camera, offering users an immersive full display with almost no bezels. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 6 for protection and comes in two colour options — Jet Black and Ocean Green.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by a Snapdragon 855 chipset with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. It also has a larger battery size at 4,065mAh and charges via USB-C, in addition to supporting VOOC 3.0 technology. The OPPO Reno 10x Zoom will ship with ColorOS 6 based on Android 9 Pie.
This edition also comes with an extra rear camera. It has a 48MP main camera, a better 8MP secondary lens and a 13MP telephoto lens and this setup supports dual OIS. On the front, the OPPO Reno 10x Zoom has a 16MP front camera with a unique design. As mentioned, the phone is capable of 10x lossless zoom and 60x digital zoom, putting it in a position slightly ahead of the HUAWEI P30 Pro.
The OPPO Reno 10x Zoom will be launching on May 27, but for those who are interested in the OPPO Reno standard edition, you can already pre-order the phone that is priced at RM1,999 at OPPO Concept Store, OPPO official dealer stores and online at OPPO official website, Lazada and also Shopee.
