Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO was reported to debut with a foldable smartphone, but a recent video posted by the company on Weibo proved otherwise as the model held onto a smartphone that doesn’t look at all foldable.

This could mean that instead of foldable smartphones, iQOO is actually planning on selling premium flagship smartphones. This is also more believable because iQOO also posted a picture with several details that indicates the smartphone’s specifications.

iQOO’s first smartphone will be featuring a sixth-generation fingerprint sensor and it will cover the entire bottom area of the panel instead of just a specific location like the current phones with in-display fingerprint sensor. The poster also mentioned 4D and though it is unsure what it’s describing, one of the post’s comment suggested that the phone can come with 4D shock for gaming purposes, like HONOR’s 4D Smart Shock.

Under the hood, the premium phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 855 processor and holds 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. While the camera specs aren’t revealed, the camera is said to support Super HDR. That aside, the iQOO phone will come with three cameras on its rear. The phone is also expected to come with 4000mAh battery that charges via USB-C and supports 44W charging.

We’ll have to wait to get more information on this phone, but it’ll be exciting to anticipate what iQOO has to share with us.
