In conjunction of Shopee 11.11 Big Sale shopping festival this year, Shopee have proudly announced the success of their sales which broke last year’s record at 7:46AM, all thanks to the overwhelming support by their users.

According to Shopee, the company has gained more than 11 million orders across the region within 24 hours which is 4.5 times more than last year’s sales record. In addition to that, the site has hit a total of 42 million visits and have sold over 58,000 items in one minute.

To make things more interesting and beneficial for their users, Shopee has featured an up sized package of non-stop promotions and exclusive deals from Shopee’s brand and their strategic partners. Top participating brands and sellers enjoyed up to 716 times increase in orders and an average of more than 750% increase in traffic. Shopee have mentioned that “Health & Beauty, Mobile & Gadgets, and Home & Living” have emerged as the top three categories on the site.

Highly sought after products included the flagship Realme 2 Pro, which debuted on Malaysian shores and was the best selling smartphone for the day. Furthermore, Shopee retained its position as the leading platform for fashion and beauty products as Telekung Arafah Lace and Maybelline Lip Studio were among the top selling items on Shopee.

Shopee’s in app game known as “Shopee Shake” continued to engage users throughout Shopee 11.11 Big Sale, with a success of users playing the game for a total of 4 million times. To thank their users for their continued support, Shopee will be holding a three day 11.11 Thank You Sale happening from 12 to 14 November 2018 which users will be treated to a final round of 11.11 deals and promotions.
