Live streaming is perhaps a new format of consuming media, and it has grown over the years that there are even a few Malaysians that are now part of the Twitch Partner program. Google has mentioned that they are releasing a streaming platform that will be called Yeti and it looks like the service is now officially available.
With the launch, Google has changed the name of the platform to Project Stream and it will allow you to stream games through the Chrome browser. One of the first games that will be supported by this platform is Assassin’s Creed Odyssey which will launch this week. Users that have signed up for the beta and gets accepted will be able to play the latest Assassin’s Creed game but they are looking for users that have internet speeds of 25mbps and above.
The platform is obviously still in beta as it allows for one game to be streamed on its platform. They might be late to join the live streaming craze but perhaps the company will offer a better platform for streamers where they can be properly rewarded for their creativity.
