After a few months of offering its last call for webe’s never-ending data postpaid service, TM is finally unveiling UniFi Mobile, a new digital prepaid service that is rather similar to how Maxis’ ookyo works, however with the same mobile freedom like its predecessor. The service can now be signed up via the [email protected] app downloadable on iOS and Android devices, when launched for the first time you will be immediately be teased with 4 selling propositions, where you get to choose the plan that suits you, complimentary 20GB LTE data, no contract commitment, expiry dates and wasted data.

The service is fairly easy to sign up and if you have previously subscribed to webe or TM services, your details will be automatically picked up after keying your IC number, you can sign up to 5 lines, and the app will let you choose either a new phone number or maintain your existing number. Best of all, your SIM pack can be collected at any TMPoint centres or you can have it delivered to your address for FREE. Lastly, pay up RM10.60 (GST included) for the SIM pack using your online banking account or credit card, then you are all good to go.
