Facebook has decided that YouTube is becoming too big and they like to dethrone them by releasing Facebook Watch, a platform for content creators to post up videos, live or pre-recorded and some of the shows will even come in episodes that will follow a theme or storyline.

Facebook Watch is a new video streaming platform to rival YouTube 1Shows will also be organised based on the community, you can find sections like “Most Talked About”, “What’s Making People Laugh” and even “What Friends Are Watching”. Commenting and liking on videos is also part of the experience, users will be given the chance to see comments and connect with friends and other viewers while watching, you can also participate in a dedicated Facebook Group for the show or video. Facebook has also partnered up with content creators like Nas Daily, Buzzfeed and more.
