Xiaomi Malaysia has just announced that the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 and Mi 6 will be available for preorder at 12 PM on 31 July from the official Lazada Mi Store and Mi Premium Reseller at Queensbay Mall in Penang. Both the phones were announced quite a while back and were well received by consumers, now we Malaysians will finally get the chance to understand why these phones are worth the investment.
Just to give you a recap on what is powering the phones, the Mi Max 2 is equipped with a Snapdragon 625 processor, 6.44-inch IPS LCD screen, 64GB or 128GB internal storage expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card, 4GB of RAM, 5300mAh battery, rear 12MP dual-LED flash and front 5MP camera. It also comes with Android 7.1.1 out of the box and can be updated to MIUI 9.
The MI 6, on the other hand, is powered by the Snapdragon 835, 5.2-inch IPS LCD screen, 64GB or 128GB internal storage with no option for expansion, 6GB RAM, 3350mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0, dual 12MP camera with dual-LED flash on the back and a 8MP camera on the front. This phone also comes with Android 7.1.1 out-of-the-box and can also be updated to MIUI 9.
