Huawei has been turning ripples into waves, launching its ever improving line smartphones as time goes by. The Huawei P10 is probably the main talking point now when it comes to the Chinese smartphone brand, but let’s not forget the earlier launched Mate 9 which has achieved a milestone of its own. The Huawei Mate 9 has sold more than 5 million units since its launch. The figure was announced in one of the many conferences of Huawei’s CBG event earlier in China.
Huawei achieved the 5 million sales figure 4 months after the Mate 9 begun selling, and the Chinese manufacturer claimed that it performed better than the Huawei Mate 8 did when it was sold. According to Huawei, the 5 million sold units account for 36 percent of the company’s target for the Mate 9. By the looks of it, the phone will surpass 10 million unit sales within the next 6 months if its hype doesn’t die down too quick.
Late last month, Huawei boasted the sales figures of its popular P9 smartphone, having reached 12 million units since it was first launched, smashing the sales target for the dual camera handset. The Huawei P10 has just been unveiled recently at MWC 2017. How do you think it will fare this time?
