Last year, Facebook founded Building 8, a secretive division that focuses on hardware. Since then, this division has been experimenting, building, and teasing the public over what it has cooked up. Now, it is possible that Building 8’s experiments may finally be presented to the public during Facebook’s upcoming F8 conference in April.

According to a report by the Business Insider, it appears that Building 8 will be making its presence known at the F8 conference next month. While the hardware in question still remains a mystery, rumours and teases that have surface indicates that the hardwares in question will range from drones, augmented reality, brain-scanning technology, and a project that is headed up by a Stanford cardiologist.

Not surprisingly, Facebook themselves did not comment on the Business Insider story, so until the F8 conference begin, you should really take these speculations with a pinch of salt. Nevertheless, the projects that are being worked at by Building 8 may prove to be the most interesting thing that Facebook has to offer.
