It seems that Kingston has launched three new memory-storage products, with one of them being security centric and the other being a part of Kingston’s Wireless line.

For the Wireless line, Kingston will be introducing the MobileLite-Wireless G3 and the MobileLite-Wireless Pro. The G3 comes with a 5400 mAh battery and a 2A output, allowing the device to charge two smartphones at a faster-than-usual speed. The Pro on the other hand, comes with a 6700 mAh battery plus 64GB of built-in memory.

Both the G3 and the Pro will come with a USB port and an SD card slot, allowing users to access their USB Flash drive and SD on their smartphone or tablet wirelessly. The MobileLite app will allow users to easily transfer, backup or share photos, videos and other content without having to use a PC. Fast data transfer is also supported as the devices are Dual-Band Wi-Fi capable.

The security-centric product that Kingston launched is the DataTraveler 2000, an encrypted USB Flash drive. Featuring an alphanumeric keypad, the DataTraveler allows users to lock the drive with a word or number combination. It also has an auto-lock feature that activates when the drive is removed from the host device. Brute force intrusions are ineffective as the USB drive will delete the encryption key and password after 10 invalid login attempts. The DataTraveler 2000 is available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities.
