HyperX, Kingston’s high-performance product division, has reached an agreement with Microsoft that will see the HyperX CloudX Pro Gaming Headset be the official licensed headset for the Xbox One.
The HyperX CloudX Pro Gaming Headset marks the company’s first foray into the gaming console market. Basing its design on the award-winning HyperX Cloud II, the CloudX will come with a 3.5mm port, allowing gamers to plug it directly into the Xbox One’s controller. The headset will come with a concenient in-line colume control and uses memory foam ear cushions as well as a soft leather-padded headband with custom stitching for enhanced comfort and style. The over-the-ear, closed-cup design helps block out ambient noise. The CloudX will also ship with a detachable microphone and a hard shell carrying case for gamers who travel often.
More details surrounding the CloudX will be revealed as the headset approaches its late Q2 release.
