Story-driven gameplay has been one of the favorites lately and a few game developers are quite ambitious in producing really good ones such as Quantic Dream. Its PS3 titles, Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls, was already known to be released on PS4 too but as of now, we have a confirmed release date. The digital copy of Beyond will be released on PS4 on the 24th of November next week, coming out in the US first followed by Europe two days after. It will be priced at $29.99/€29.99/£24.99. Purchasing digitally also gives you access to a discounted version of Heavy Rain, which will be released on March 1st in the US, not being clear whether it will be available digitally elsewhere.

Quantic Dream has confirmed a physical bundle titled, The Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls Collection, arriving March 4th in the UK followed by rest of the Europe two days earlier. Pricing has not been announced yet.

You must be wondering what has been changed from the PS3 version? Sony has revealed an array of improvements for Beyond, having enhanced visuals with improved motion blur, bloom and depth of field. There will be even better lighting and shadows, also allowing players to replay the entire storyline in chronological order once they’ve finished the game. Those who have played the PS3 game will definitely look forward to this. Gameplay wise, Sony has promised improved controls, increased difficulty in combat sequences, even audio cues from the DualShock 4 controller’s speaker while you’re playing as the paranormal entity.

Though it might be minor additions for a game that was critically divisive when it was launched in 2013, but true fans or those who have missed it on the PS3 but own the PS4 would definitely look forward to this game. Heavy Rain has been staying tight-lipped about Heavy Rain but Beyond could definitely be the game you could occupy your time on while waiting.
