Samsung launches Galaxy S24 FE and Galaxy Tab S10 Series

Samsung has wrapped up the month with the launch of the Galaxy S24 FE and Galaxy Tab S10 series, the Galaxy S24 FE features the most significant upgrade ever since the first Fan Edition smartphone, while the Galaxy Tab S10 series continue to bring the best Android tablet experience with Galaxy AI.

Galaxy S24 FE and Galaxy Tab S10 series Hands On

Galaxy S24 FE – larger screen and current gen chipset

The Galaxy S24 FE gets a bigger Dynamic AMOLED 2x screen at 6.7-inches with a Full HD+ resolution with 120Hz refresh rate, though its peak brightness only maxes out at 1200 nits, which is a far cry from the Galaxy S24 for reduced costs. However, the phone is still extremely well built with an aluminum frame while both front and back glass are fitted with Gorilla Glass Victus+.

Unlike previous FE phones that uses an older generation chipset, the Galaxy S24 FE is equipped with an Exynos 2400e processor, which has slightly lower clock speeds than the outgoing Galaxy S24 Plus, while it comes with 8GB RAM and storage options of 256GB and 512GB, the phone is juiced by a 4700mAh battery and supports 25W fast wired charging and 15W wireless charging.

The camera department is similar to the previous model, featuring a 50MP wide camera with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide and 8MP telephoto that offers 3x optical zoom, the front camera takes 10MP stills. Other than that, the Galaxy S24 FE features the full suite of Galaxy AI, which comes with features such as Chat Assist, Note Assist and many more.

Galaxy Tab S10 series – Mediatek 9300+ powered tablets

Samsung is launching only two new flagship tablet models this time, comprising the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra, these tablets feature the same screen size as before at 12.4-inch and 14.6-inch respectively, though interestingly, they are powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 9300+ chipset instead of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy, which should deliver great power efficiency than before as it is famous for it.

Both tablet screens feature an anti-glare coating that minimizes reflections for a better viewing experience, while the quad speaker system now features an AI Intelligent Dialogue Booster, which will boost vocals when watching videos. The tablets will also continue to feature IP68 water and dust resistance, which is still a pretty rare feature on flagship tablets.

Of course, the Galaxy Tab S10 series will also feature the full suite of Galaxy AI, which Samsung has showed off an impressive Sketch to Image feature that you can trace existing objects on screen and turn them into AI generated images, the tablets’ smart book keyboard cover also features a dedicated AI key, which can be mapped to open Google Gemini or Samsung’s Bixby Assistant.
