Nokia 2

Nokia will be launching their new entry-level smart phone, Nokia 1 which based on reports will be part of the Android Go program. It is expected that the phone will be available in Russia from March 2018.

The phone is expected to come with an HD IPS display, 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage. There is no information on the processor they are using so it might come with either a Snapdragon or MediaTek processor, but because it is under the Android Go program, the phone is expected to perform decently well even with very low-end specs. The program is catered to phones that come with a minimum of 512MB to 1GB of RAM and Google has also announced that we will be seeing a lot of Android Go phones early 2018. On the rear, there is an 8MP camera with auto-focus and on the front is a 5MP camera which will support the Bothie feature.

There is an IP52 certification making the device splash-proof but will come with Android 7.0 out of the box with Google Assistant. Nokia has promised that the phone will be updated to Android 8.0 in due time.
