Whenever the term mechanical keyboard is being mentioned, our heads usually turn to gaming keyboards with those flashy RGB lighting, however when it comes to your work desk you may actually want to tone down things a little, and probably keep your desk a less messy without wires, the Lofree Typewriter mechanical keyboard aims to deliver that experience for less than US$100 (RM445), the company is currently selling this typewriter styled mechanical keyboard over at Indiegogo and if you are fast enough, you may be able grab it at US$74 (RM329).
Lofree's keycaps and layout is very much inspired by traditional typewriters with a round shape, it uses Gateron Blue switches that should sound really clicky as you type, which perfectly simulates that satisfying typewriter sound as you run your fingers at those keys, it also features a row of multimedia keys at the top. The great thing about this keyboard is that you can have the freedom to use it either wired or Bluetooth and connect up to three devices, you will also be able to switch between Mac and Windows key layouts. If you happen to work in low light most of the time, this keyboard comes with three levels white LED backlighting, a built-in 4000mAh battery enables it to last up to 15 months on a single charge without backlighting.
At this time of writing, Lofree has already reached 1088% of its goal in funding and will ship the keyboard as early as May 2017, the price does include free shipping in the U.S however for Malaysia, you'll need to fork out an additional US$19 (RM84) for it to be shipped here.
