Acer Nitro 5 will come with the all-new Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 GPU and 9th-Gen Intel Core CPU

Now that the Nvidia has lifted the cloche on the GeForce GTX 1650 GPU for both desktop and laptops much to the delight of gamers – it’s the more affordable option to the already affordable GTX 1660 card, and it is built on Nvidia’s Turing architecture too.

Not one to rest on their laurels are Acer as they’ve announced the Acer Nitro 5 gaming laptop which features the GTX 1650 GPU alongside a 9th-Gen Intel Core CPU, which was also newly announced. To be more specific, you can get the Nitro 5 with either the Core i7-9750H or the Core i5-9300H.

As you may already know, the GeForce GTX 1650 GPU will come with 4GB of GDDR5 VRAM, meaning that the Acer Nitro 5 is a mid-ranged machine; and It has got a 15.6-inch slim bezel IPS display to boot.

As for storage, it gets a 256GB PCIe SSD along with 4GB on board memory which can be upgraded to 16GB DDR4 modules, while two SODIMM slots are also available affording you up to 32GBs of additional RAM.

You can get your hands on the laptops sometime early May; for RM4,399 for the Core i7 variant and RM3,499 Core i5 variant.
